Grizzlies Open Second Round Friday In Boise

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies tonight released their schedule for the second round of the ECHL's Kelly Cup Playoffs.

The 2-3-2 best-of-seven series will open Friday and Saturday at the Qwest Arena in Boise, with face-off both nights scheduled for 7:10 p.m.

Game 1; Friday: Utah at Idaho, 7:10 p.m.

Game 2; Saturday: Utah at Idaho, 7:10 p.m.

Game 3; Tuesday, April 20: Idaho at Utah, 7:05 p.m.

Game 4; Friday, April 23: Idaho at Utah, 7:05 p.m.

Game 5; Saturday, April 24: Idaho at Utah, 7:05 p.m.

Game 6; Tuesday, April 27: Utah at Idaho, 7:10 p.m.

Game 7; Wednesday, April 28: Utah at Idaho, 7:10 p.m.

This marks the first time in Grizzlies history that they have faced their closest regional rival in the post-season. The two teams have met 53 times in the regular season over the last five seasons, including 14 times this year. Friday, will mark Utah's sixth trip to Boise in six months. The Steelheads have not visited the E-Center since December 26 after Utah hosted them six times in the first two months of the season.
