Loveland, Colorado - The Colorado Eagles defeated the Utah Grizzlies 10-1 Wednesday night in Colorado.

The game drops Utah to 5-3 on the season and marks the first time all year that they have lost two-straight games . Ten goals allowed in a game ties the most goals allowed in Grizzlies history; originally set in December of 2002.

Colorado took over the game 36 seconds into the first period and never looked back. They built a 4-0 first intermission lead, a 7-0 second intermission lead and an 8-0 lead before a Kory Falite power-play goal stopped the run 7:58 into the third period.

Despite the ugliness, Utah will still enter this weekend's action in second place in the Mountain Division as they look to rebound.

Goaltender Andrew Engelage and veteran forward Brad Mills remain day-to-day and are on the trip with the team. They are possible to return this weekend.

The Grizzlies continue with the Eagles Friday and Saturday in Colorado. Face-off each night is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

Utah returns home on Monday, November 12 for Maverik Monday. With a receipt from Maverik, fans can purchase six tickets for $30 at the arena box office. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Grizzlies cup and discounted Pepsi products throughout the season.
