Grizzlies Coach Branham to Travel to England for Hockey Camp

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies have teamed with England's Telford Tigers for an international hockey partnership. The agreement will see the two organization exchange: hockey, player development, recruiting, operations and marketing strategies.

Grizzlies Head Coach/General Manager Tim Branham will be in Telford from August 15-September 1 working with local youth hockey players and with the Tigers in their training camp.

"We are pleased to partner with the Telford Tigers to combine resources and staff," said Branham.

Before signing the agreement, Tigers and Grizzlies coaches and management met in Utah April 11-April 17 in a comprehensive conference to discuss and exchange philosophies and best practices.

"Throughout the time dealing with the Grizzlies they have shown that they are exceptional partners, driven, inventive and professional; I can't think of a better partner to launch our international program with," said Telford Owner Wayne Scholes. The Tigers play in the English Premier League

The Grizzlies open the 2014-2015 regular season at Maverik Center against the Idaho Steelheads on Friday, October 17 at 7 p.m.
