Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the United Hockey League and 2005-06 Central Division, Tarry Cup and Colonial Cup Champions, announce that defenseman Adam Elzinga will participate in the Big Brothers and Big Sisters fundraiser tomorrow night, Wednesday, August 30th at bd's Mongolian Barbeque.
Last season, Elzinga heated up the ice with his defensive play; tomorrow night the defenseman will be heating up the kitchen as a guest griller.
Elzinga will be on hand at the restaurant's South Westnedge location from 6-7:30 p.m. showing off his grilling technique on bd's 2000 pound grill flipping fresh vegetables, meats and seafood on their three-foot swords while raising money for charity.
Proceeds from the event will go to benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Kalamazoo.
