
Grenville Named CHL Player Of The Week Again

LAREDO, Texas â The Central Hockey League announced today that Laredo Bucks forward Chris Grenville has been selected the Bauer / Nike CHL Player of the Week. Laredo hosts the Lubbock Cotton Kings Wednesday night at the Laredo Entertainment Center. Grenville led the Bucks, who have the best record in the CHL at 45-7-5, with six goals in four games this past week. He registered a hat trick, including the game winner in overtime, in a 4-3 win in Fort Worth on Saturday. The Bucks were 3-1-0 during the four games this past week.
Grenville currently leads the CHL with 44 goals, which is a new Bucks franchise record for goals in a single season. He has a CHL leading 23 goals on the power play and has scored a goal in 24 of the last 30 games and in four straight.
Overall he accumulated seven points during the week. He is now third in the CHL with 84 total points.
This is the second time that Grenville has captured the Player of the Week Award. He was previously selected on January 13th.
BUCKS PLAYOFF TICKETS
Laredo Bucks playoff tickets are now on sale to all current Bucks season ticket holders. The dates for the first two games of the first round of the CHL President's Cup Playoffs have been established as Friday, March 19th, and Saturday, March 20th.
