Elmira RHP Greg Keagle, a former major leaguer, threw a five-hit shutout versus Quebec on Aug. 14 to garner the Daktronics Northern League East Pitcher of the Week honor.
He is the second straight Pioneer honored. Alvarez was batter of the week last week.
