Moosic, Pa. - The SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/ New York Yankees) beat the Buffalo Bisons 3-1 on Sunday afternoon at PNC Field to bookend their opening homestand with victories. The triumph snapped a five-game skid to the Bisons (7-3) and improved the RailRiders to 4-6 on the young campaign.

Ben Heller pitched a scoreless ninth, striking out a batter, to pick up his first save of 2017.
The RailRiders tied the game in their half of the third when Cito Culver worked a one-out walk. Wilkin Castillo followed with a bounding single over third and Clint Frazier deliver Culver home with a single through the right side.
SWB grabbed their first lead of the day in the seventh against reliever Mike Bolsinger (0-1). Ruben Tejada sparked the rally by bashing a double to right-center. Culver advanced the runner with a grounder to short and Castillo came through again with a single to right for the RBI.
Dustin Fowler tallied his second hit of the afternoon on a single to center in the eighth and easily scored when Rob Refsnyder launched a triple to right for a 3-1 advantage.
