Green Bay Rockers News Release

Ashwaubenon, WI - The Green Bay Booyah are in search of a big win tonight against the Woodchucks at home as they look to get back to .500 for the second time this season.

In last night's game, the pitching staff for Green Bay led the Booyah to a 4-3 win. On the rubber, Green Bay pitchers combined for nine total strikeouts, only walking four batters in Athletic Park. The Booyah went 1-5 all of last season against the Woodchucks on the road, but are now 1-0 this season. Jack Sauser picked up his first win of the year, and Chandler Ingram notched his second save.

At the plate, the bat of Matt McDonald has started to heat up. The Lamar infielder picked up two more doubles last night, and has six doubles over the course of the last four games. McDonald, who is in his second season in Green Bay, is hitting .462 during the last four games, and has an on-base percentage of .500.

The Booyah will turn to Garrett Martin for his third start this season for the plaid and white. So far, Martin has a 2.57 ERA, and has collected seven strikeouts in seven innings pitched. First pitch for tonight's game against Wisconsin starts at 6:35pm, with the first 500 fans through the gate getting a mystery bobblehead.
