
Great Lakes Bay Region Set to Host OHL's 20/20's Vision Meetings

FRANKENMUTH, MI. - The entire Ontario Hockey League descends on Frankenmuth, Michigan on Monday, Dec. 2 and Tuesday, Dec. 3 for the annual 20/20's vision meetings at the Bavarian Inn Lodge.
"On behalf of the Saginaw Spirit organization, it's an honor to host the Ontario Hockey League and the league's Marketing, Game day Operations, and Business staffs," said Chairman of the Board of Governors and Saginaw Spirit Team President and Managing Partner Craig Goslin. "The OHL is recognized as one of the best development leagues in the world. The talent and commitment to excellence reaches far beyond the ice."
The league takes a look at Marketing, Communications, and Game Day Operations including specific focuses on Community, Merchandise, Ticketing, Analytics, Social and Digital Media.
Collectively the 20-member teams will come together and share best practices and break off into specific breakout sessions.
Rico Phillips, winner of the Willie O'Ree Community Hero Award given by the National Hockey League and founder of the Flint Inner City Youth Hockey Program, will be a guest speaker at the event on Monday.
Manny Brar from Entripy.com will also be speaking on Maximizing Merchandise sales in the Ontario Hockey League.
On Tuesday, Michael Hensley, Group Tour and Niche Markets Manager at Go Great Lakes Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau will speak to the 20-member teams on what sponsors are looking for in today's Sports Marketing Buys.
