Great Falls, Mont. - For the second straight day the White Sox have announced a roster move affecting the Great Falls Voyagers roster. A day after receiving lefty relieverÃÂ Devon DavisÃÂ from the AZL White Sox, the Voyagers added outfielderÃÂ Hunter JonesÃÂ to the mix.
Jones comes to Great Falls from Kannapolis where he began the 2014 season after he was signed by the White Sox as a free agent in November of 2013. In 41 games with the Intimidators this year, the former Cleveland Indians farmhand hit .205 with five home runs and 15 RBIs. Originally drafted by the Indians in the 11th round of the 2010 draft out of Lakewood High School in California, Jones spent three seasons in the Cleveland organization before joining Chicago this past off season.
