Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The West-Division-leading Colorado Mammoth (7-1) announced today that forward John Grant Jr. will not play this weekend against the Washington Stealth due to an upper-body injury. His return is currently unknown.
"Obviously this presents us with a new challenge, but that's what team sports are all about," said Mammoth head coach Bob Hamley. "We're extremely confident with the players we have, and it will be their responsibility to step up in "ËJr.'s' absence."
At the midpoint of the regular season, Colorado's offense is tops in the NLL averaging 13.63 goals per game.
The West-Division-leading Colorado Mammoth (7-1) takes on the Washington Stealth (2-6) in a home-and-home series this weekend.
Colorado hosts Washington on Saturday night at 7pm MT on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center. Tickets are on sale now at the Pepsi Center box office, all Colorado Dick's Sporting Goods retail kiosks, online at TicketHorse.com, or by calling 303.53.HORSE.
