Green earned NCBWA Preseason All-America second team honors hitting .348 with six home runs and 21 RBI for the Chatham A's of the Cape Cod League in the summer, and was named the Robert A. The streak, the second-longest in the California League this season, spanned from Weeks' Ports debut on May 27 to June 28.
