BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington PrairieThunder forward Travis Granbois will be out for the remainder of the International Hockey League season with a fractured knee cap, the team announced Monday.

Granbois, who suffered the injury during the first period of the Flint game on Feb. 26, is scheduled for surgery next week.

He had one power play goal along with 11 power play assists and two game-winning goals.

"This is obviously a tough blow to Travis and the team," said coach Jarrod Skalde. "Travis has been a valuable part of the team. He has been our most versatile player in the sense that he has played both as a defenseman and forward. He's has done whatever has been asked of him."
