Graham Stoneburner to Join Thunder

Graham Stoneburner has been demoted from the Triple-A Scranton-Wilkes Barre RailRiders to Double-A Trenton Thunder prior to Wednesday's game.

In three appearances (1 start) this season with the RailRiders, Stoneburner is 0-0, with a 2.00 ERA. He has held batters to a .235 BAA (eight hits in 34 at-bats) and struck out seven batters against walking just two.

In his one start, the 26-year old made one start in Triple-A versus the Syracuse Chiefs allowing two earned runs, four hits while striking out five. Stoneburner was drafted in the the 14th round of the 2009 MLB Amateur draft out of Clemson University by the New York Yankees. In three previous years as a member of the Thunder (2011-2013), he has amassed a 4.31 ERA in 45 games (16 GS) while making most of his appearances out of the bullpen.

Last season with Trenton, Stoneburner was 0-1 with a 3.52 ERA-- allowing 9 ER in 23.0 IP over 14 games (1 GS).

To make room for Stoneburner on the active Thunder roster, RHP Cole Kimball has been transferred to Short Season-A Staten Island roster.
