Spokane Chiefs News Release

Spokane, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs announced on Friday that forward Grady Lane has been reassigned. Lane is expected to join the Winkler Flyers of the MJHL.

"This move will provide Grady the opportunity to play more minutes and in key situations, allowing him to continue to develop," said general manager Scott Carter. "We look forward to seeing him in a Chiefs jersey again in the future."

Lane, a 16-year-old forward from Virden, Manitoba, was the Chiefs' eighth round (156th overall) pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft and appeared in one regular season game. He was the first overall pick by Winkler in the 2018 MJHL Draft.

The roster move leaves Spokane with 25 players, including 14 forwards, nine defensemen and two goalies.
