San Angelo, Texas---The Colts added an arm to their bullpen as they signed right-hander Corey Goudeau away from the Edinburg Roadrunners and placed righty Gorman Romero on the inactive list. Romero left Tuesday night's game with an injury.
In 18 games, including eight starts, for Edinburg Goudeau went 2-6 with a 7.82 ERA. A native of Amarillo, he attended Frank Phillips College in Borger, TX before the Florida Marlins drafted him in the 18th round of the 2010 draft.
Romero, who was also used as both a starter and reliever for the Colts, has pitched in 22 games with seven starts. He is 4-1 with a 5.12 earned run average.
The Colts take on the Rio Grande Valley White Wings tonight in game three of a four game series. RHP Brian Henschel (7-5, 4.78) will start for the Colts against Rio's Eddie Dennis Jr (1-1, 7.49).
