
Gotham FC to Welcome Back Women's World Cup Players on August 27

HARRISON, NJ - NJ/NY Gotham FC today announced the exciting return of six FIFA Women's World Cup players to the tristate area on Sunday, Aug. 27 for a special celebration, when Gotham FC hosts Racing Louisville at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J. (7:30 p.m. ET, Paramount+ / MSG Networks).
The celebration will feature robust Gotham FC Fan Fest activities, as well as an on-field ceremony to recognize midfielder Kristie Mewis, defender Kelley O'Hara, and forward Lynn Williams of Team USA, alongside defender Bruninha of Brazil, midfielder Sinead Farrelly of Ireland, and forward Ifeoma "Ify" Onumonu of Nigeria.
Prior to representing their countries at the World Cup this summer, their combined contributions for Gotham FC helped set the tone for the team's success this year.
These six players now return from the international stage at a crucial time for the club, as Gotham FC ramps up its push to make the NWSL Playoffs.
With a thrilling final stretch of four regular season home games this Fall, fans can rally their support, beginning Saturday, Aug. 27.
