Amarillo Gorillas News Release


AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Gorillas head out for their first road trip of the season this weekend.

On Friday night the Gorillas visit the Odessa Jackalopes at Ector County Coliseum at 7 p.m. Fans can tune into the game on 1550 Am the Zone beginning with the Farmer's Insurance Group Warm Up Show at 6:40 p.m. Play by play coverage of Amarillo Gorillas Hockey Presented by Bank of America faces off at 7 p.m. The game is also available on the world wide web at www.amarillogorillas.com or through the pay-per-view website at www.chltv.com.

The following night the Gorillas are in Laredo for their first match-up of the season against the defending CHL Champion Laredo Bucks at the Laredo Entertainment Center. The game can be heard live on 1440 Am The Score beginning with the Farmer's Insurance Group Warm Up Show at 7:10 p.m. Amarillo Gorillas Hockey Presented by Bank of America follows at 7:30 p.m. Fans can also catch the game on www.chltv.com or www.amarillogorillas.com.

ANNUAL BLOOD DRIVE

The Amarillo Gorillas are helping out the Coffee Memorial Blood Center on Saturday, Nov. 20 with its annual blood drive. During the day Blood Center staff will be set up in the upper concourse in the Amarillo Civic Center and fans are encouraged to give the gift of life. For donating blood, fans will receive a tee-shirt from the Blood Center, as well as ticket for either Saturday's game versus the Fort Worth Brahmas or Sunday's game versus the Tulsa Oilers.

FUND RAISING CARDS

The Amarillo Gorillas have a unique opportunity for non profit groups and organizations looking to raise money. The Gorillas now are offering fund raising cards which include coupons and great deals from local businesses as well Amarillo Gorillas tickets.
