Amarillo Gorillas News Release
AMARILLO TX â The Amarillo Gorillas are looking for people interested in becoming off-ice officials for the 2003-2004 season.
The off-ice officials are in charge of areas such as official scoring and stats tracking, penalty box, timekeeping and goal judges.
The off-ice officials won't necessarily have to attend all 32 Amarillo Gorillas home games, but will need a flexible schedule so they can be contacted to fill in or help out at certain games, according Director of Media Relations Denis J. Puska.
"Charley and Lea Carrell have done a tremendous job with the off-ice officials over the years and we are excited to have them back on board," Puska said. "The off-ice officials are a dedicated bunch and Amarillo's group is always regarded as one of the best in the CHL."
For further information about becoming an off-ice official with the Amarillo Gorillas, please contact Denis J. Puska at 242-7825 or email him at denis@amarillogorillas.com
