Gorillas add three to roster

[Amarillo, TX]- The Amarillo Gorillas of the Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that the club has signed forward Don Patrick and defensemen Mark Strzoda (stro-duh) and Tony Maci (may-see).

Patrick, a 5'9'', 180 pound forward, from Fulton, New York played four games for the Oklahoma City Blazers of the CHL last season. Before joining Oklahoma City, Patrick played three seasons (2002/03- 2004/05) of collegiate hockey for The State University of New York College at Oswego (SUNY-Oswego). In 90 games played for Oswego, he tallied 141 points and 30 penalty minutes.

Strzoda, a 5'11'', 228 pound defenseman, from Brampton, Ontario attended SUNY-Oswego from 2001/02-2004/05. At his time in Oswego, Strzoda had 43 points and 13 penalty minutes in 89 games played.

Maci, a 6'1'', 209 pound defenseman, from Grosse Ile, Michigan played five seasons (2000/01-2004/05) with St. Lawrence University. In 83 games played for St. Lawrence, he cumulated 17 points and 68 penalty minutes.

"Patrick and Strzoda come from a winning tradition at Oswego. Patrick is a two-time All-American, brings a ton of offense and is a great character guy. Strzoda loves to finish his checks and his strength on the puck will be a plus on our small ice surface." Head Coach Joe Ferras continued, "Maci is a physical defenseman that competes hard every night. He will play a big part in helping us sure up the defensive end of the rink."
