Kalamazoo, MI- Wings Stadium, which is also home to "The Annex" and "The Cube", announces that the Wings Stadium Complex will host the Quent Riha Goalie School from July 13th-18th.

The school is open to all ages and levels and will feature both on and off ice training by Quent Riha, Dan Abraham, and Mike Payne. Riha has many years of experience in hockey. He played for the Green Bay Bobcats (Mid-American League), and was selected for the U.S. Olympic Team.

Abraham and Payne both attended the Quent Riha Goalie School as youngsters. Dan played four seasons of hockey at Kent State University, where he earned a NCAA record for most saves in a game. Payne played his college hockey at Colby College, and has just finished his second season as goalie coach at Northwood University in Lake Placid, New York.

Cost of the weeklong school is $400. The school will feature on-ice technical training, on-ice circuit training, off-ice endurance and specialized training, and off-ice instruction and video analysis. Stadium Management Company owns both Wings Stadium Complex and the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team. Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. The Cube is the newer of the three facilities, that plays host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
