
Goaltender Gistedt Recalled to San Antonio

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League announced Monday that NHL parent club the Phoenix Coyotes has recalled goaltender Joel Gistedt to the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
Gistedt, 20, is in his first professional season in North America and has a 4-9-0 record through 14 games with Arizona this season. The rookie netminder has accumulated 330 saves and a .853 save percentage. It is the third time this season Gistedt has been recalled to the Coyotes' AHL affiliate.
The native of Uddevalla, Sweden was selected in the second round (36th overall) by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
