
Goalies Shine as Wild Edges Moose 1-0 in OT

WINNIPEG, MTB, CAN - The Iowa Wild (7-10-0-1, 15 points) defeated the Manitoba Moose (7-6-1-1, 16 points) 1-0 in overtime in front of 4,865 fans at the MTS Centre on Tuesday night. Iowa goalie Alex Stalock made 28 saves for the shutout and forward Teemu Pulkkinen scored 1:26 into overtime, catapulting the Wild past the Moose. Stalock (3-5-0) stopped 14 shots in the first period en route to his first shutout of the season. Pulkkinen's goal ended Iowa's winless drought on the road at three games (0-3-0-0). Moose goalie Eric Comrie (4-5-0) made 34 saves on his way to an overtime defeat. The same two teams meet again on Wednesday in Winnipeg at 7 PM CT.
After 60 minutes of scoreless hockey that saw Iowa outshoot Manitoba 33-28. Iowa caught the Moose on a line change in overtime, as defenseman Gustav Olofsson snapped a pass through the neutral zone for Teemu Pulkkinen. He raced in on goalie Eric Comrie and flicked a wrist shot past the glove of the Moose goalie for his fourth goal of the season and a 1-0 victory. Center Jordan Schroeder also had an assist on the game-winning goal.
The Wild continues a seven-game road trip through December 3. The team plays games in Chicago, Manitoba, Charlotte and Grand Rapids. The Wild returns back to Des Moines to welcome the Milwaukee Admirals on Tuesday, Dec. 6. The game is Kids Eat Free Tuesday, sponsored by 96.5 Country and Goodhue Nolte Insurance. All kids 12 and under eat free with (1) Crash's Kids Meal, which includes one hotdog, one soda, one popcorn, one fruit snack and an Iowa Wild prize. Fans may also bring in their Subway receipt to purchase a ticket for only $5.

The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area.
