
Go-Go to Hold Local Tryout

Capital City Go-Go News Release
WASHINGTON, DC - The Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards' NBA G League affiliate, will hold the team's 2018 open local player tryout at the Saint Elizabeths East Sports & Entertainment Arena on Saturday, September 15.
The local player tryout is a unique feature of the NBA G League, in which players participate in drills in front of Go-Go personnel for a chance at an invitation to Capital City's training camp in October. The Go-Go are able to invite up to five players from the tryout to training camp.
Registration for the tryout will open on September 4. Players wishing to attend the tryout must meet all NBA G League player requirements and complete all steps of the registration process located here prior to arriving to the tryout on September 15. A non-refundable registration fee of $150 must be paid in order to participate. Registration for the tryout will close on Wednesday, September 12 at 5:00 p.m. Participation spots in the tryout are limited and will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis.
Players participating in the tryout will receive a Go-Go jersey for use during the tryout and will also receive a complimentary ticket to a Go-Go home game during the 2018-19 season.
There will be no parking available at the arena the day of the tryout. Players attending should take the Metro or be dropped off at the location.
The tryout will be closed to public viewing. Information regarding media availability and timing will be released at a later date.
