The Capital City Go-Go suffered a last-second loss to the Westchester Knicks, 123-122.

The Go-Go were led by Patrick Baldwin Jr., as the Washington Wizards assignee scored a career-high 30 points on 14-19 shooting. He also had a team-high nine rebounds.

Nine of Baldwin's 30 points came in the first quarter, keeping the Go-Go in striking distance as they entered the second period trailing 31-27. Go-Go Guard Davion Mintz also got off to a quick start, scoring eight of his 27 points in the opening quarter.

Capital City would outscore Westchester 28-23 in the 2nd to take a 55-54 lead into halftime. Go-Go Forward Hamidou Diallo scored eight of his 23 points in the quarter.

Coming out of halftime, the Go-Go continued to push their momentum, opening the 3rd quarter on a 29-10 run to take a 21-point lead - their largest of the night. Diallo would again lead the charge, scoring 11 more points in the period. Guard Devon Dotson ran the offense for the Go-Go, with a game-high nine assists, while also getting 16 points of his own.

However, the Knicks made a run in the fourth quarter, behind by a team-effort of seven players scoring in double figures. The duo of DaQuan Jeffries and Jacob combined for 43 points on the evening. The win for Westchester secured their second of the regular season.

The Go-Go now travel to Greensboro where they will take on the Swarm at Norvant Health Fieldhouse for a two-game matchup with games on Wednesday, January 10 and Friday, January 12. Wednesday's game will be available to watch on ESPN+ and Friday's game will stream live on Tubi.
