
Gnats to announce stadium renovation

SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Sand Gnats are inviting all media, season ticket holders and marketing partners to the park on Tuesday, Aug. 8, as the team presents plans for a multi-million dollar upgrade to Historic Grayson Stadium. The event will begin with a speech from Sand Gnats owner John Simmons at 6 p.m. He will be followed by a speaker representing the city.
Everyone in attendance is invited to stay for a free dinner with an open bar and enjoy a live rock concert. Simmons will be available to answer the media's questions immediately following the presentation.
This event is only open to media, season ticket holders and Sand Gnats marketing partners. However, after Tuesday's announcement, the plans will be available for public viewing at the stadium during all remaining Sand Gnats home games.
