Harrisburg Senators News Release


The Harrisburg Senators return to RiverSide Stadium Friday to begin a six game homestand and kick it off with fireworks. Baseball gloves and a special Mother's Day will also be part of the festivities. The Senators will also get their first look at two Northern Division rivals, New Haven and Binghamton during this homestand.

Players of the Month

The Senators announced that infielder Josh McKinley and pitcher Anthony Ferrari have been named the Montreal Expos' double-A Players of the Month for April. McKinley finished the month at a .318 batting average, 5 homers and 25 RBI. Ferrari was 2-0 with a 0.56 ERA in 14 appearances. He also led the team with five saves.

At Triple-A Edmonton, the Expos named former Senators Terrmel Sledge Player of the month and Julio Manon Pitcher of the month.
