Amarillo Bulls News Release

Amarillo, TX - Charlie Glockner's fifth shutout of the season and Noah Carlin's powerplay goal lifted the Amarillo Bulls topped the New Mexico Ice Wolves 1-0 on Friday night.

The first period would see the Bulls shoot 18 times but to no avail, as Henrik Laursen would stop all 18 shots for the Ice Wolves.

The Bulls would find the icebreaker with 32 seconds remaining in the second period, when Noah Carlin lifted a shot from the blue line past Laursen for the opening goal of the game on the powerplay.

Carlin's sixth of the season would be all the team needed, as the Bulls would hold on for the 1-0 victory.

Charlie Glockner would stop 30 of 30 shots while earning his fifth shutout on the season, which is tied for the top mark in the NAHL. He now holds an 8-1-1-2 record.

With the win, the Bulls are now 19-5-1-2 and hold 41 points and second place in the South Division.

The Bulls will remain at home to the Budweiser Bull Pen on Saturday, December 14 to take on the New Mexico Ice Wolves. Mark Shelley will broadcast the game from the Spicy Mike's Bar-B-Q Broadcast Booth, and the action will begin at 7:05PM CST on 107.1 Nash Icon and Hockey TV.
