
Glenn Johnson, Pitts receive honorable mention

Bloomington Extreme indoor football players Glenn Johnson and Dorian Pitts received honorable mention honors from the United Indoor Football League for their performances in Saturday's 56-44 victory at Omaha.
Johnson caught seven passes for a team-record 138 yards and three touchdowns to earn honorable mention selection as Offensive Player of the Week.
Pitts received the same honor for Special Teams Player of the Week. He blocked a field goal with one second remaining in the first half that teammate Evan Triggs recovered in the end zone for a touchdown.
The Extreme returns to action Saturday with a 7 p.m. game against RiverCity at Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
Bloomington's next home game is May 19 at 7:05 p.m. against Ohio Valley at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
