
Glenallen Hill takes over as Nuts Manager

The Modesto Nuts Professional Baseball Club has announced that manager Chad Kreuter will be leaving the team to take the position of head coach of the University of Southern California baseball team. Kreuter served as the director of baseball operations for the Trojans last year before joining the Colorado Rockies prior to the 2006 season.
Hitting coach Glenallen Hill will take over the managerial duties for the Modesto Nuts. Hill joined the Nuts staff prior to the 2005 season and he has been a coach in the Rockies organization for three years. Hill had a 19-year Major League career and compiled a career batting average of .271 while hitting 186 home runs with 586 RBI.
