
Gleason Traded to Bulldogs

London Knights News Release
London Knights General Manager Basil McRae announced today that the team has traded defenceman Ben Gleason to the Hamilton Bulldogs. In exchange, the Knights receive London's own 2nd round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection back after trading it away to Belleville for Michael McCarron in 2012 and a conditional 15th round pick in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection from the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Drafted in the 2nd round of the 2014 OHL Priority Selection, Gleason has appeared in 43 games for the Knights recording six assists along with 16 PIMS over the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. The Michigan native spent the 2013-14 season playing with the Honeybaked U18 team where he recorded 6 points (1 goals, 5 assists) in 22 games played. Ben recently appeared in the All-American Prospects game and was named to the NHL CSS Preliminary Players to Watch list for September.
