Gladiators Playoff Tickets on Sale May 3

Las Vegas, NV, May 1, 2003 – Playoff tickets for the Las Vegas Gladiators' Drive to ArenaBowl XVII will go on sale Saturday, May 3 at 12:00 p.m. PT it was announced today by Gladiators' General Manager Mary Ellen Garling. Playoff ticket prices will range from $9 for all balcony seats to $23, $38 and $58 in the lower plaza. Gladiator playoff tickets can be purchased at the Thomas & Mack box office, by calling 739-FANS or online at www.UNLVtickets.com. The Gladiators are currently in first place in the Arena Football League's Eastern Division. The first round of the playoffs is scheduled for either Saturday, May 24 or Sunday, May 25 and should the Gladiators win the Eastern Division, they will host a playoff game on one of those two dates. Should the Gladiators finish the regular season with a top-four record in the league, they will receive a bye in the first round of the playoffs and host a playoff game either Sat. May 31 or Sunday, June 1. The Gladiators return home Saturday night, May 3, when they take on division rival New York Dragons at 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center. Often recognized as one of the nation's most affordable and fan-friendly sports leagues, the Arena Football League kicked off its 17th season and the first on NBC on Sunday, February 2, 2003. NBC will provide the AFL with unprecedented exposure by televising up to 70 games, including playoff contests and ArenaBowl XVII on June 22.
