Las Vegas Gladiators News Release

Las Vegas- Nevada Reading Week is an annual event that nearly all Clark County Schools participate in. During this particular week, schools invite guests from all over the community to come and read to their students. The intention of the week long event is to promote literacy and show to the kids how essential reading is to their lives. The Las Vegas Gladiators have participated in Nevada Reading Week for the past three years and have jumped on board again.

Players, Goddesses and Front Office staff will visit over twenty Clark County Schools starting on Monday, February 26th through Friday, March 2nd. The Las Vegas Gladiators Community Relations Department focuses its efforts on literacy programs and serving the youth in Southern Nevada areas, so participating in Nevada Reading Week is something that is looked forward to each year. Although the Gladiators are going out into the community in full force during the week of the 26th to promote reading in the schools, it is a year long goal to continue to promote it throughout the year.

The Gladiators open their fifth season on the road against the Austin Wranglers on March 4th. Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Gladiators office at 702-731-4977 or logging onto www.lvgladiators.com.
