PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul announced today they have trimmed the roster down to 28 after the release of Dwight Anderson, Vince Carter, Clarence Curry, John Glass, Ron Johnson and Isaac West.
With the release of these five players, the Soul will have one more waive of releases to cut down to its 24-man final roster on February 26. Following that cut down, the Soul will be allowed to sign players to its practice squad which is allowed to be up to four players.
Fun! Family! Football! It begins this March as the Soul travel to take on the Nashville Kats on Friday, March 9 at 8:00 p.m. in the Gaylord Entertainment Center to kickoff the 21st season of the AFL.
