Frisco Fighters News Release
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - On the road for the fourth time in five fixtures, the Frisco Fighters outclassed the Duke City Gladiators to the tune of a 53-48 final score on Saturday evening.
Wide receiver Marques Rodgers provided the spark that eventually led to a 17-point fourth quarter advantage, returning the second half's opening kick for a score. He found the endzone three times for a total of 76 yards on the game.
Despite the Gladiators pulling within a possession in the game's closing minutes, Frisco's all-around effort-which also included a two-score performance from wide receiver Manny Arceneaux-put a stop to the possibility for any comeback.
