ORLANDO, Fla. - The Gladiators (18-43-3-3) head up the road to Greenville, South Carolina tonight to take on the Road Warriors (35-28-1-3) for the first of back-to-back games at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. The two teams will face one another four of their last five games this season, with one game against Evansville thrown into the mix (the Gladiators will host the IceMen on April 8th, the Road Warriors on April 10th).

This will be the fifth time that the Gladiators head to Greenville this season. They've taken one game at the BSWA; their last meeting on December 27th - a 3-2 back-and-forth nail-biter that saw Gwinnett win on a Travis Ouellette goal with four minutes remaining in regulation.

Glads Notes:

Striking Oil: Goaltender Kent Patterson has been loaned to the Oklahoma City Barons of the AHL on Thursday. In 18 games with the Gladiators this year, the Plymouth, Minnesota native had a 4-10-2 record, a 3.53 GAA, and a .899 save percentage. This will be his third stint in the AHL, after two separate shifts with the Lake Erie Monsters in 2012-13 and 2013-14.

College Party: The Gladiators are well represented amongst the NCAA hockey teams competing in this year's tournament. Goaltenders Mike Lee (St. Cloud State) and Kent Patterson (Minnesota), forward Geoff Paukovich (Denver), and defenseman Patrick MacGregor (Boston University) all had their alma maters competing for the trophy. Only MacGregor's BU is still alive in the tournament.

Gladiators Ahoy: Three players currently on the Gladiators roster have been assigned from their AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates - Dan O'Donoghue, Greg Carey, and Mike Lee - and nine more - Joel Hanley (POR), Louis Domingue (POR), Jordon Southorn (POR), James Melindy (POR), Dyson Stevenson (POR/BRI), Bretton Stamler (HFD), Casey Pierro-Zabotel (NOR), Joe Stejskal (IAW), and Kent Patterson (OKC) - have spent time in the AHL this year.

Milestones: Captain Sean Berkstresser achieved his 200th pro point on Sunday ... Scott Arnold is two games from his 150th professional contest ... Tyler Murovich achieved his 150th pro point on an assist Saturday night. He has scored just over half of his career points while as a Gladiator (76) ... Justin Buzzeo, Tyler Shiplo, and Daniel Bahntge all scored their first professional points in their pro debut weekend last weekend.

Streaks: Rookie Greg Carey three goals and two assists in his last six games ... Rookie forward Justin Buzzeo has a point in each of his first two pro games ... Tyler Murovich has an assist in each of his last three games ... Forward/defenseman Jeff Silengo has a goal and two assists in his last three games.
