Alaska's Connolly Named CCM ECHL Player of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Alaska Aces' center Brendan Connolly has been named the CCM ECHL Player of the Month for March. It is the second time in his career that Connolly has captured the monthly honor.

Connolly scored 11 goals, added seven assists and was +9 in nine games during the month.

The 29-year-old had at least one point in seven of his eight games in March, including a pair of four-point games. He had three goals and an assist in a 6-2 win against Colorado on March 14 and also in a 10-2 victory at Stockton on March 27. He also had one three-point game and a pair of two-point game over the course of the month.

A native of Canmore, Alberta, Connolly ranks second in the ECHL with 77 points and is tied for fifth with 46 assists.

Connolly has 331 points (142g-189a) in 325 career ECHL games with Alaska, Greenville and Elmira while adding 41 points (15g-26a) in 50 career games during the Kelly Cup Playoffs. He has also appeared in 21 career games in the American Hockey League with Adirondack, Texas and Abbotsford, totaling four points (1g-3a).
