Giltner Named Mainers Photographer, Social Media Manager

SANFORD, Maine - The Sanford Mainers visual storytelling will have a new face as the organization announced on Monday that Madison Giltner has been named the team's photographer and social media manager for the 2023 season.
A native of Metropolis, Ill., Giltner is currently a junior at Southern Illinois University where she is studying Sports Administration. At SIU, she is a photographer and creative media intern for the Saluki's athletic department. She primarily works with the men's basketball and football teams, where she photographs media days, in-game action, creates graphics and assists with social media for the Salukis.
Along with her role with the athletic department, she is also the Vice President of the SIU Dawg Pound. The Dawg Pound is the official student section for the Salukis and has been dubbed "the best student section in the Missouri Valley Conference." Her role includes developing marketing strategies to increase student attendance at games, assisting in securing sponsorships/brand deals and developing content for social media platforms.
