Gilliam, Miggins Named Players of the Week

February 14, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release


Derrick Pearson, host of ABALIVETALK, announced that Armon Gilliam of the Pittsburgh Xplosion and Jimmy Miggins of the SoCal Legends were named the ABA Players of the Week. The awards were announced on ABALIVETALK, the weekly talk show for the American Basketball Association. Gilliam had 29 points and 13 rebounds in the 2006 ABA All Star Game, winning the games Most Valuable Player Award leading the Eastern All Stars to a victory. Miggins scored 19 points off the bench, keying two runs that allowed the Western All Stars to turn a 23 point deficit into a 10 point lead, before the East won the game129-127.
