Langley, BC - The Giants bounced back from a pair of losses this weekend with a big 3-2 win against the Prince George Cougars Sunday afternoon. Brett Mirwald made 34 stops and captain Ty Thorpe buried the overtime winner to send the local crowd home happy.

1st Period:

No Scoring.

2nd Period:

VAN: Julian Cull opened the scoring on a 2-on-1 rush with Kyren Gronick.

PG: Zac Funk tied the game 3:13 later on a delayed penalty.

VAN: Connor Dale sniped one top corner from the left wing to regain the lead for Vancouver 7:13 into the period.

PG: Hudson Thornton tied the game again on the powerplay with 8:07 left in the second.

3rd Period:

No Scoring.

OT:

VAN: Ty Thorpe finished the game on a powerplay 1:10 into overtime.
