Niagara IceDogs News Release

Mississauga, Ont. (Thursday, Mar. 22, 2007) - With their 1st round playoff series versus the Sudbury Wolves looming, the Mississauga IceDogs are urging their fans to Get Red! The players would like nothing better than to see a full ring of red around the Hershey Centre when the puck drops tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m.!

The team will continue to sell its limited-edition, red playoff t-shirt for only $10 at both of this weekend's games. It will be available along the concourse and at the two merchandise kiosks. A portion of the proceeds will continue to be donated to The Credit Valley Hospital Foundation.

As was previously announced, here's how the IceDogs-Wolves Eastern Conference Quarter-Final series will unfold:

- Friday, March 23 at Mississauga - 7:30 p.m.

- Sunday, March 25 at Mississauga - 8 p.m.

- Tuesday, March 27 at Sudbury - 7:30 p.m.

- Thursday, March 29 at Sudbury - 7:30 p.m.

- Sunday, April 1 at Mississauga - 7 p.m. *

- Monday, April 2 at Sudbury - 7:30 p.m. *

- Wednesday, April 4 at Mississauga - 7 p.m. *

*if necessary

This series should be a hard-fought battle as the IceDogs won the season series by a slim 3-2-0-1 margin. The IceDogs pride themselves on their up-tempo offence, which led the league with 326 goals this year. Their forward corps includes many weapons, such as the top line of Jadran Beljo, Chris Lawrence and Michael Swift, and snipers such as Stefan Legein and Jordan Owens.

The Wolves defence-first approach is anchored by veteran blueliner Marc Staal, a 1st round pick of the New York Rangers in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Meanwhile, their offence is spearheaded by Oakville-native Justin Donati and veteran centre Nick Foligno, a 1st round pick of the Ottawa Senators last summer.

Tickets for all of the IceDogs home games are now available. Group tickets can be obtained by calling the team at 905-502-7788. Individuals seats can be purchased by contacting Ticketmaster at 416-872-5000 or www.ticketmaster.ca, and by visiting the Hershey Centre box office during regular business hours or prior to the puck drop.
