Harlingen, TX - For the first time in team history, the United League's Harlingen White Wings will be auctioning off specially designed, game-worn jerseys to benefit a local charity.

Local's Lounge is partnering with the WhiteWings for Camo Jersey Night tomorrow night at Harlingen Field. The team will sport military style jerseys that will be auctioned off to fans immediately following the evening's contest with the Alexandria Aces. All of the proceeds of the auction will go to the VFW Families of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.

"This is an important cause that will also be fun for our fans and our club," White Wings General Manager Dave Kost said. "Our team wants to honor the men and woman who are bravely serving our country and we are excited about making this a memorable night for professional baseball in Harlingen."

Game time is 7:05 and the auction takes place immediately following the game. Kids will also get to run the bases after the game to receive free treats from Sonic Drive Ins. Fans are also invited to visit Local's Lounge at 603 Commerce after the auction.

All military, police, firefighter, and public safety personnel receive FREE admission to all WhiteWings games including tomorrow night's action. Tickets for the general public start at $4.00 and may be purchased at the Harlingen Field Ticket Office.

The Harlingen WhiteWings Baseball Club is a member of the independent United League Baseball circuit, featuring six clubs located in both Texas and Louisiana.
