
George Bello called-up to U-17 Men's National Team

ATLANTA (Oct. 9, 2018) - U.S. Soccer today announced that Youth National Team head coach Shaun Tsakiris has called in 21 players who will travel to compete in the 2018 Under-17 International Youth Tournament. The list includes Atlanta United defender George Bello and Atlanta United Academy midfielder Will Reilly. The tournament will take place across host cities Shropshire and Chester, England where the USA will face off against England, Brazil and Russia.
Bello, 16, made his MLS debut Sept. 2 and has since started twice for the first team. He became the sixth-youngest player in MLS history to score a goal on Oct. 6 against New England Revolution. Academy midfielder Will Reilly has been called into the U-17 player pool for the first time.
The camp marks the final gathering for the U-17 MNT before the group begins preparations for the 2018 Nike International Friendlies in late November.
