The Generals are in Roanoke, Virginia tonight to take on the Roanoke Valley Vipers for the first time this season.
Former Flint General David Alexander-Beauregard leads the Vipers with 32 points (16 goals and 16 assists).
Beauregard scored two goals last night in Roanoke's 3-1 victory over Richmond.
The win also moved Roanoke ahead of Richmond in the Eastern Division standings.
Prior to last night, the previous three wins for Roanoke have been 4-3 shootout victories. .
The Generals Terry Marchant leads the team in scoring this year with 25 points.
Defenseman Steve Makway has scored on two of his three shootout attempts this year.
The Generals have an even .500 record both at home (6-6-2) and on the road (5-5-2).
The Generals are 8-0-1 when leading after two periods.
The Generals lead the UHL in road penalty killing with 90.9%
