Generals Home Tonight vs. Fort Wayne

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals of the International Hockey League host the Fort Wayne Komets tonight at Perani Arena beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Flint (16-30-2-4, 38 pts.) is in 6th place in the IHL standings looking to shake a 3-game losing streak. The Generals will play 5 of the next 7 games on home ice. The Fort Wayne Komets (25-15-2-8, 60 pts.) are in 4th place, trailing 3rd place Kalamazoo (61) by 1 point and 2nd place Muskegon (62) by 2 points.

The Generals are expecting 4 of their newest players to be in the lineup tonight after two mid-week trades in the International Hockey League.

Earlier this week, the Generals picked up veteran right winger, Frank Littlejohn along with rookies, defenseman Alex Lamontagne and forward Maxime Lincourt from the Muskegon Lumberjacks while sending center John DiPace and defenseman Ryan Jorde to the 'Jacks.

Also, former Generals' forward Jeff Zehr returned Flint from the Port Huron Icehawks in return for veteran right winger Steve Rymsha.

After tonight's game, the Generals travel to Muskegon on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. (Radio: WFNT 1470 AM, www.flintgenerals.com, The B-2 Network) before hosting the Lumberjacks on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 4:00 p.m.
