Generals Beat Petes in First Half of Home-And-Home

(Peterborough, ON) - The season series between the rival Petes and Generals sits at 3-2-0-0 for the Maroon and White after Oshawa skated to a commanding 7-2 win on Friday night.

Oshawa scored four markers before Nick Robertson (36) got the Petes on the board, extending his goal scoring streak to ten games. Peterborough native Curtis Trolley, called up from the Lindsay Muskies, scored his first OHL goal in the loss.

Akil Thomas assisted on both Petes goals, lengthening his assist streak to ten games. Declan Chisholm and John Parker-Jones each had single assists.

Final shots were 37-30 in favour of the Generals. Peterborough went 0/6 on the power play and 3/5 on the penalty kill.

The Petes wrap up the weekend at the PMC on Saturday, February 1 at 7:05pm with the 11th annual Pink in the Rink game.
