
Gems Offer "Meet & Greet" VIP Package For This Saturday's Kids Eat Free Game

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Gems professional hockey team, a proud member of the "AA" Central Hockey League, released additional details on their upcoming "Kids Eat Free" night on March 10 when the Gems host the Bloomington Blaze on Cassano's Italian Ice inside the historic Hara Arena.
The Gems are now offering a limited number of special "Meet & Greet VIP Packages" for Saturday night's game inside the historic Hara Arena. Taking place between 5pm and 6pm on Saturday, prior to the gates opening to the general public, the VIP Package includes 2 corner tickets to the game, 2 "meet and greet" pregame passes, 1 team autographed mini stick, 1 Gems youth jersey and a photo opportunity with Scooby Doo character!
VIP Packages for Saturday's game are on sale now for just $50, and are available by calling the Gems ticket office at 275-7777 before Saturday at noon. Fans that already have tickets to Saturday's game can purchase a VIP Package for the discounted rate of $30. Additional tickets and upgraded seating locations can be purchased as well at the time of VIP Package ordering.
Presented by Kaplan College, Saturday's Kids Eat Free night features a bevy of giveaways, events and appearances geared towards the 12 and under crowd. All kids 12 and under in attendance will receive a voucher for a free hotdog, kids sized popcorn and small soda.
Additionally, the first 1,000 kids 12 and under through the gates starting at 6pm will receive a limited edition Dayton Gems miniature hockey stick.
Making a stop at Hara Arena on March 10 will be characters featured on Cartoon Network through Time Warner Cable, and include Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry and Ben 10. The Characters will be on hand throughout the evening to meet and greet fans of all ages.
Gems mascot Blade will also be available to take photos with fans at the Kaplan College concourse booth from 6 to 6:30pm, located near the main lobby.
About Cartoon Network characters: Scooby-Doo is the Great Dane who solves mysteries through crazy antics and missteps. Ben 10 is a boy who acquires an alien device called the Omnitrix attached to his wrist that allows him to turn into alien creatures. Tom and Jerry is centered on a never-ending rivalry between a cat (Tom) and a mouse (Jerry) whose chases and battles are legendary.
