Klamath Falls, OR: Dylan Rogers (Oregon Tech) hit his fourth home run of the year in the 3rd inning and Ryan Clark (UC Santa Barbara) added two more runs with a two run single in the 6th inning as the Gems defeated the Bend Elks 5-2 on Friday night at Kiger Stadium.
Brandon Horth (Loyola Marymount) pitched eight innings and improved to 4-1 on the year with the win for the Gems and Taylor Elman (Creighton University) took his first loss and fell to 4-1 for Bend. The Gems improve to 19-20 with their second straight win and third consecutive win over Bend, who move to 23-16 on the year.
