GCS Ballpark Set for Bob Dylan Concert

Gateway Grizzlies News Release


GCS Ballpark, home of the Gateway Grizzlies will make the transformation from a baseball field to concert venue in preparation for the July 2nd Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, and John Mellencamp concert.

Tickets for the show are $67.50 and free admission for each child 14 and under accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

The gates to GCS Ballpark open at 5:00 p.m. with the concert getting underway at 5:30 p.m. The concert schedule goes as follows:

- 5:30 p.m.: The Wiyos

- 6:10 p.m.: Willie Nelson and Family

- 7:35 p.m.: John Mellencamp

- 9:10 p.m.: Bob Dylan and His Band

The Grizzlies along with Jam Productions ask concert goers to abide by a few rules:

1. Don't bring recording devices (Cameras, audio or video)

2. Don't bring food

3. Don't bring beverages

4. Don't bring weapons

5. Don't bring bottles

6. Don't bring cans

7. Don't bring coolers

8. Don't bring chairs

9. Don't bring umbrellas

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will go on as planned. Rain coats and blankets are permitted.

In accordance with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), and the Illinois State Police, Exit 15 Mousette Lane off of I-255 will be CLOSED beginning at 4:00pm on Thursday July 2nd. All concert traffic will be redirected to I-255 Exit 13 (Illinois Route 157). Police and traffic signs will direct all concert traffic to GCS Ballpark from Exit 13.

All Northbound I-255 traffic will be allowed to exit onto Mousette Lane via Exit 15. Parking for the show is $10.00 per vehicle.
