Uniondale, NY - The Saskatchewan Rush (5-6) and New York Riptide (6-8) will face off for the second and last time ever at Nassau Coliseum on Saturday, March 23rd.
These two teams met a week ago with the Rush winning 17-15 on Co-op Field. Ryan Keenan led the way with a seven point game, while Zach Manns, Mike Triolo and Jake Boudreau had hat tricks in the victory. Robert Church had a couple goals in the game as he leads the team with 62 points this season. Between the pipes, Frank Scigliano made 41 saves, putting his save percentage on the year to .774.
Depth Scoring: On March 16th, the Saskatchewan Rush had eight players who recorded three or more points in their win over the New York Riptide.
The Riptide got four goals and four assists in the loss from Jeff Teat. He leads the club in their final season with 43 goals and 52 assists in 14 games. Former Rush netminder Cameron Dunkerley allowed 16 goals on 42 shots. The Orangeville products save percentage this season is .753.
